Showing: Subdivisions, Retaining Walls, New Homes

This picture is an over view of one of our subdivisions with 14 new homes under construction. The road and all the utilities were put in place. The houses were split levels with drive under garages. The homes were very large, 48'-0" long and 28'-0" wide.

You can see the houses in the back portion of the photo are already finished, the houses over to the left side of the photo are getting sided, the houses closest to you are just the foundations that have been back filled. This project from start to finish took 15 ½ months for total completion.

On this same site, we had to build a retaining wall that was 220 linear feet in length. The height varied some what but on average was approximately 23 feet high. The two pictures show you the sheer size of the wall compared to the homes next to it. Everyone enjoyed the landscaping aspect of the wall upon its completion.

This is a front photo of the splits that were built in the subdivision. Every house had a 12 ft Bow window in the front and a two car garage under it with cedar siding for the exterior. Home owners got to choose between 7 colors for the base and trim colors for the final look.

This is a view of a 17 acre (approximately) subdivision getting under way with the clearing and road construction. This site had a ¾ mile worth of road construction on the site with another mile and a half of off site road up grades in order to bring the utilities in. We built 104 duplex condominiums overlooking the valley of trees across the way. It was beautiful, especially in the fall with all the colors of the foliage
This photo shows from the front view the finished condominium that was built on this site. These units were very large for their day, approx.1,830 square ft. They had two bedrooms one and ½ baths. Washer and dryer hook up, drive under garage and much, much more. It took us two years to build this site.

This photo shows the back view of the condominiums. One of the options that could be selected on any of the units was a fireplace in the family room and it really did give the room warmth.
